Gromitron Industries, LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates a portfolio of apps and digital products including Bookhaven, Ninja, Upliv, Sprout, Build-a-Balloon, GigLock, PicMind, and others. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.
We take your privacy seriously. We collect only what we need, we don't sell your data, and we give you control over what you share.
Data We Collect
The data we collect depends on which app or service you use. In general, we may collect:
Data You Provide
- Account information (name, email address) when you sign up
- Content you create within apps (notes, library entries, health logs, garden data, etc.)
- Support messages or feedback you send us
Data Collected Automatically
- Device type, operating system version, and app version
- Crash reports and error logs to help us fix bugs
- Basic usage data (which features you use, how often) to improve the experience
- IP address for fraud prevention and security
Data Processed On-Device
- Some features (like AI photo analysis in PicMind, or meal analysis in Upliv) process data locally on your device. This data is not transmitted to our servers unless you explicitly choose to save or sync it.
How We Use Your Data
- To provide and maintain the features of our apps
- To personalize your experience (e.g., remembering your preferences)
- To send transactional messages (account confirmations, support replies)
- To improve our apps using aggregated, anonymized analytics
- To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or security threats
- To comply with legal obligations
We do not use your data for advertising. We do not sell your personal information to any third party.
Third-Party Services
Some of our apps rely on trusted third-party services to function. These services have their own privacy policies and provide equivalent protection of your data:
- Supabase — Backend database and authentication (supabase.com/privacy)
- Apple — App distribution, In-App Purchase, and sign-in (apple.com/legal/privacy)
- Anthropic / OpenAI — AI-powered features in certain apps (prompts may be processed by their APIs)
We ensure any third party we work with meets Apple's privacy standards and our own data protection requirements.
Data Retention & Deletion
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal reasons.
To request deletion of your data, email us at privacy@gromitron.com or use the in-app account deletion option where available.
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Withdraw consent for data collection at any time
- Request a copy of your data in a portable format
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority

Children's Privacy
Our apps are not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the effective date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we'll provide notice within the relevant app. Continued use of our apps after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
